  • Jason J. Jeras, age 47 passed away in Hot Springs, AR on April 18, 2018 from ALS. Jason was born April 14, 1971 to James A. Jeras and Linda Joesten Jeras in Rockford, IL. Jason is preceded in death by his father, grandparents and an uncle.

    He was an auto body tech and owner of Crooked Post Studios. He was a drummer, an avid Cubs, Blackhawks, and Green Bay Packer fan.

    He is survived by his mother, Linda Jeras (David) Johnson of Hot Springs Village, AR, brotherJeff (Anna) of Royal, AR, uncle Brad Joesten of Urbana, IL, and April Jeras of NV and numerous cousins.

    A gathering for friends and family will take place at Jason’s favorite restaurant, Sam’s Pizza, 2139 Charles St. in Rockford, IL on April 29, 2018 from 4-6 p.m.

    I was lucky enough to play in a band with Jason, he was a real pro.. we also recorded a demo at Crooked Post Studio... He was an awesome person...

    Sorry to hear about this. While we have been seperated for a long time some of my best childhood memories were us playing in God rest her soul Grandmas basement during holidays. Linda and Jeff my heart bleeds for you guys.
